To defend the faith means to protect and stand for the true teachings of the gospel. The Devil knows that it is impossible to destroy the Church through the use of external forces, hence, he sends false teachers, wolves in sheep clothing, false prophets, etc. into the Church to weaken the faith of believers. He uses his representatives to cause chaos in the Church. Because of this, Christians are called not only to believe the truth but also to defend it. Every believer must be ready to stand for the truth of God’s Word.
