The life of Samuel shows us that God rewards those who stay faithful to Him. Samuel was faithful from when he was young until he was old. He obeyed God, served Him, and did not follow the evil around him. Because of this, God stayed with him, used him greatly, and made his life meaningful. Samuel’s life teaches us that if we remain faithful to God, He will honour us, use us, and give our lives purpose.
