There’s a type of friend who knows how bitter the truth is but will always look at you and tell you the bitter truth to your face without pampering your emotions. Even though such friends make us taste the bitterness of the truth, they mean well for us. A true friend who loves you genuinely will never worship your emotions but will always tell you in love. Here’s what the Bible says in Ephesians 4:15 “But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ”. If you have that kind of friends please value them. The truth is very scarce, if you get it anywhere in this world that is full of lies and liars, please value the source. Proverbs 23:23 says, “Buy the truth, and sell it not; also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding.” Do you have any true friend? Please jealously guard them so that you will not lose them. You have no guaranty that you will meet another one in your lifetime.
