The Church has a divine assignment to remain faithful to Christ and proclaim the Gospel until He returns. In the last days, the Church will face increasing opposition, deception, persecution, and spiritual compromise. Yet Christ has promised to build and preserve His Church. Let every believer remain steadfast, watchful, prayerful, and committed to the truth. Scriptural Readings for the Day Matthew 16:18 (KJV) “And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” Matthew 24:13-14 (KJV) “13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.” 1 Peter 5:8-9 (KJV) “8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.” Prayer Lord Jesus, strengthen Your Church in these last days.
