The Christian life requires spiritual alertness. We have an enemy who seeks opportunities to weaken our faith and destroy our testimony. In these last days, believers must avoid spiritual carelessness and remain sober, prayerful, and watchful. A vigilant Christian is better prepared to recognize temptation and resist the enemy. Don’t forget that a prayerless Christian is a powerless Christian. ” Prayer Lord, make me spiritually alert and watchful. Protect me from the distractions and temptations of this world, and help me remain sober and faithful until Your return. Amen.
